We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.
What This Means for You:
- If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
- If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
- Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
- Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

I hope Sampo is able to just play a simple game, chase people down, drive the puck to the net, be a pain in the ass to play against. He's got all the physical gifts, he needs to think simple and play simple.

But seriously my usual suspect was streaming those until recently but stopped for no reason and I don't watch the AHL enough to warrant a subscription.
That's the reason he's been recalled over more deserving players so I hope he gets that.

Solid article. Cronin seems like a good teacher, he says things that are not the common pablum we are served by other coaches.

It took a while but I think we finally hired a competent AHL head coach... Sacco, Quinn, Chynoweth, Veilleux, ...
Foudy is really putting it together thus far this season. If he can keep it up, I hope he gets rewarded with a game with the Avs towards the end of the year.

Foudy is easily their best player and it’s not all fancy stuff, he does channel it into an energetic tenacity combined with skill. But he’s not a try hard forechecker so we’ll see how that goes.

Zhuravlyov and his wife just had a kid. That might have something to do with it.
Mikhail Maltsev mentions that in an interview. It’s super long and detailed. He discusses tons of topics; like young players getting yelled at by Erik Johnson for getting on elevators before the vets. Lol

Also, I think his description of his mentality last year is why he didn't stand out much. He was too worried about making mistakes.
