If we don't have the draft picks to stock the team, I'm all for solid AHL vets. I really want to see the Eagles thrive and do well every year. I think it's important to have a winning culture at the AHL. It's going to be interesting to see how Aaron Schneekloth fares stepping into the head coach role. He's had 10 years of familiarity with the Eagles and was the head coach of the teams that won the back-to-back Kelly Championships.

Doesn't have the depth upside that Sherwood, Matsev, Sikura, or Tynan have in case of injuries for the Avs, but he is a damn good AHL player. Much better than Avs obsession with Smallman.
