Don't look at who is co-leading in points at BC.
I continue to watch the BC games on ESPN+, it’s pretty clear that he’s not a main contributor on that team at ES.Don't look at who is co-leading in points at BC.
Cristall at 2 PPG tooDon't look at who is co-leading in points at BC.
You’re right, PP don’t countI continue to watch the BC games on ESPN+, it’s pretty clear that he’s not a main contributor on that team at ES.
Have not watch either one enough to gain a real grasp on either one . Cutter looks solid when I watch him but just going by stats I would sure like to see more 5 vs 5 points and a few more assists outside of a failed shot and someone pots in the rebound .I’d be curious to know your thoughts on both Cutter and Rizzo.
samson's not struggling he's been one of the phantoms best defensemen in the games he's played, just hasnt put up pointsGauthier G and A, now 10 points in 8 games.
Bonk and Sotheran are off to solid starts in their D+1 seasons.
Rizzo up to 17 points in 8 games, +13 - and Denver has had a cupcake schedule to start the season.
McLaughlin and Kaplan starting to heat up, both have 7 points in 8 games as sophomores.
Knuble and Wisdom are off to awful starts. Samson struggling as well.
Not likelyFrom what I have heard about him on this board I hope they can get Rizzo signed
Kelowna still stinks too. He was chucking cross ice saucers yesterday.Cristall at 2 PPG too![]()
I believe the Flyers could of had 2 of Leonard, Cristal, Perrault. Or if you really believe Michov will come over (I don't), they could have had either Cristal or Perrault. I don't believe Bonk will be anywhere near the defenseman that Cristal or Perrault we be at forward. But the Flyers will be Flyers - always go with sizeCristall at 2 PPG too![]()
Not disagreeing, but I see the other 2 as being more dynamic from an offense standpoint than Bonk will be defensively. Let's face it they need everything. I would rather concentrate on 6-5 games vs 2-1 games.......just a personal preferanceWe'll see.
Bonk is having a fine D+1 season, he'll fill out, supposedly has a high IQ, the perfect partner for a puck moving LHD (which are easier to find than full sized all around RHDs).
Solid top 4 D-men are harder to find and tend to have longer career.
The guy I'm keeping an eye on is Sotheran, he's looking like a later round find.
Ryan MacPherson has 20 pts in 15 games. What should his PPG in this league be to be considered a legit prospect (I know he was a 7th rounder)?
You'd think drafting Drouin in 2013 would have done that already. So many of the 1st rounders after Michkov (besides our favorites <3 ) are off to bleh starts. Because they’re bleh players. That draft always had a bunch of land mines.
Imagine being Detroit and you take Kasper and Danielson with back to back top 9 picks. Woof. Maybe one day the “Yzerman is an S Tier Drafter” narrative will die.
6'0" 195lbs is small? Are you a Tinder girl or something? Nobody under 6'2"?JVR was a scorer too, but not as strong as Gauthier and didn’t score from distance as much.
Rizzo looks like a good player but it’s early yet to see how he fits in, if at all.
There are a lot of small forwards in the system and TK, Brink, Atkinson and Frost already on the team, with Michkov coming to replace Cam in 2 years. Any of the upcoming smurfs are going to have to fight for a place, given the management’s obsession with ancient Flyer success - and the real need for a balanced lineup with some size.
Rizzo, Barkey, Tuomaala, Desnoyers, Lycksell, Ciernik will have to fight it out.
I am big Frost fan, but he is in no way a big player. He's average and there are also a few guys in his size range too. Let's face it, you need some big players in the roster, and beside 4th line goons. There are Couts, Cates, Laughton, Gauthier, Foerster, Tippett, Allison, Laczynski who are 6'1 and up and provide some size. Kaplan is also pretty sure to get a chance, based on size + skating.6'0" 195lbs is small? Are you a Tinder girl or something? Nobody under 6'2"?
It's a bottom 5 team. How hard is it going to be to crack the line-up? If a player can't crack, it it is not because he is small. It is becasue he sucks.I am big Frost fan, but he is in no way a big player. He's average and there are also a few guys in his size range too. You need a balance of speed, size, skill, playmaking, scoring and grit to win. When people consider prospects like Rizzo, you have to consider who he's competing with and all the other prospects he'll have to leap over to crack the roster.
Tuomaala is a good example. With TK, Foerster, Tippett, Hathaway and Allison, it's going to be hard to crack that lineup at RW (ask Wade), esp with Brink and Atkinson sure to be playing somewhere at 5'8" and Michkov coming in a couple years to claim the 1RW spot.
I will use my usual proviso and say that I hope Massimo Rizzo takes the NHL by storm and wins the Calder, Art Ross, Rocket Richard, Masterton and Conn Smythe trophies on the way to leading the Flyers to the Stanley Cup in his rookie year. Let's see if he signs, though.
DELETE WRONG BOARD!

Frost's problem this year is the same as Allison,s was last year . f***in Tort's is trying to change his game and crapping all over him to do so . Instead of letting him play his game and then try to tweek it a bit he shits on them and belittles them so their confidence is shot .It's a bottom 5 team.
