The Flames still need to ice a team. It's unfortunate for them all of this info is coming out now because teams usually pay more at the deadline.

That being said, seems like Hanifin, Toffoli and Lindholm are gone this week. Then you hold onto Z and Tanev and trade them at the deadline - can probably get at least a 1st for each of them at that point with retention.

Yeah, but that’s the going price for those type of players. Horvat, PLD, Lindholm etc…

Id still take him on the Avs. He’s only making 4.85 for next season, then figure out what to do. I mean I don’t know how the Avs can get a 2C long term so they don’t have to keep giving up assets for one. They don’t have one coming up the system. They won’t draft one with this late picks. Not many options out there

is a top6 I can live with, even if 2 of them are UFAs next summer.

I'm not joking but nobody from Nova Scotia likes it there . They all come home as soon as possible.

Edit ; i was working up northern Alberta and staying un an Indian reserve in an (they're everywhere there ) in an old hotel.with a bar in it.


Make a long story short this Alberta red neck goof we worked with ( they're everywhere there) tried to get hard over a few drinks on front of some if us Maritimers ( Who actually did all the work ) and tried to goad us all night . His last joke was over the bluenose ( it's on the dime ) and I stood up and busted his nose and orbital badly. He never said shit again. one buddy said that was the blackest eye he'd ever seen

Hahaha exactly you don't even have to like alberta to acknowledge there's more shitty places. This is also ignoring the territories, that are uninhabitable.

Do you not think Alberta has mixed forests, wildlife, lakes or outdoor activities? You do realize just by having the mountains Alberta probably tops Manitoba on pretty much everything on that list right?

Quickly thrown together with a bit of thought.
Next off-season has 13.2m with 16 players signed with only toews,texier and Lindholm needing extensions plus minor contracts
