Where the f*** is Daniel Winnik?
Sitting on the beach at his cottage on Lake St. Joseph. Pretty much there Monday-Friday in the summer, back down on weekends.
Where the f*** is Daniel Winnik?
Toronto will trade Nylander for an upgrade on D and/or in goal, and then sign Duchene to take his place. He's getting paid by another team and will soon be at the stage of chasing a cup. A cheap show me deal for the place his heart has been all along imo.
Agreed they should ask the leadership group what they think .As long as Mack and Landy are okay with Duchene coming back, it should at least be considered.
I don’t think we can afford him, but on a cheap deal if he wants to chase the cup, I’m all for it.
Toronto seems like the ideal place for Matthew. Lowered expectations and all that.Toronto will trade Nylander for an upgrade on D and/or in goal, and then sign Duchene to take his place.
Yes. Which for Stastny is way too much. Are Duchene, O'Reilly, and Stastny all signing for $2M?
Oh yeah , that would make sense for Toronto actually .Toronto will trade Nylander for an upgrade on D and/or in goal, and then sign Duchene to take his place.
I believe in second chances.
I don't get the Duchene hate. The dude wanted out because he saw no vision at the time for the team. But he never demanded a "deadline" for his trade. He stayed and played until Sakic found the Ottawa/Nashville trade. The worst thing he ever said was "I wanted to go someplace I can win" and it's not surprising that he'd say that after the last full season in Colorado he spent we went 22-56-4.I’m dead serious. Bring back Dutchy for $2M.
Saros for sure . Josi probably not (captain, leadership etc…)Does Forsberg now ask to be traded? or Josi? Or Saros?
My thoughts as wellHave to wonder if Avs FO got their pick between Johansen and Dutchy.
I like it I love it I want some more of itRedemption stories make for some of the best sport storylines. If Duchene is willing to take a cup chasing deal, I will personally petition Ball Arena to play only the best country music when Duchene scores a goal.
You're not taking into account that he's a big bitch ass loser crybaby.I don't get the Duchene hate. The dude wanted out because he saw no vision at the time for the team. There have been way worse players in plenty of sports that have forced their GMs hand to make the quickest worst deal possible. I hold no resentment at all for Duchene. Guy kept his head down in a place that wasn't winning and asked for a trade somewhere else and let the GM of the team find the right deal.
I have a lot more issues with Paul Stastny than Duchene. As Stastny said he wanted to be here and then walked to maybe our biggest Rival.
Why lol he wouldn't get opportunities here that he does in Nashville to produce.Saros for sure . Josi probably not (captain, leadership etc…)
I’d easily trade toews or Byram in a package for Josi
This is revisionist. Duchene whined and pouted a lot, before and especially after his trade request.Duchene was an honest broker in his trade request, especially as he was approaching UFA status. I had no issues then or now with how he handled himself. And I am sure how it has ultimately worked out has humbled him, as the team got off to a good start the season he was traded the blockbuster that sent him to Ottawa put the fast forward button on the rebuild.
I think the only thing I really don't get about Duchene is how much he likes country music. You're not taking into account that he's a big bitch ass loser crybaby.
Yeah I know , just a fan of his , so yeah not realistically possible anywayWhy lol he wouldn't get opportunities here that he does in Nashville to produce.
