The only way I'd sign MaxPac is if it's a cheap contract, forgot to mention that. Basically, I'd welcome him if he's hoping to get onto a more offensive team, where he could elevate his value by being a good position, but that he's going to take a massive discount to do so.

I can see the Avs bringing Patches in on a cheap one year contract. That's kind of their MO every year with some kind of buy low reclamation project. I think they've pursued him in the past IIRC too.
