Ok well, I for one don’t think it’s gonna help Dallas. I think there is an issue with Duchene and chemistry or locker room or whatever it is, but if a team like Ottawa who’s building a winning team and ready to take that next step, gets rid of Duchene, or even Nashville who buys him out then signs ROR, it just doesn’t add up. Obviously there is something with Duchene that teams don’t want to keep him
I think in a vacuum he's worth $3M. I'm not sold on him being a locker room cancer, but he does force his way off of teams. And unfortunately for him the team he worked so hard to get to had a management switch up and now he's out. Same as RyJo. This is more of Trotz trying to shape the team like he wants up front

Dallas is the team to beat in the West. The only flaw is the D is a bit weak compared to the Avs

I can’t say he’s locker room cancer because I don’t know that, but there is something there

I wouldn’t take Duchene for free. He’s bad luck, and I’m not just saying that, I really believe he’s bad luck everywhere he goes
Can confirm. I heard when he was with the Avs he went to a King Soopers and used the self checkout line and broke the checkout and had to ask for assistance from one of the apathetic spotty 16 year olds working that day.

Doesn't that happen all the time? Nothing untoward, unless he started using the checkout for lunges or sat on it playing country guitar

I think Dallas and Vegas are the top contenders in the West. The Avs, Edmonton and LA are that 2nd tier.

The 2nd tier teams are going to need roster additions to have a legit shot at beating those top 2.
