Next game against Memphis, Marcus Smart will be out with a foot injury, too bad I was looking forward to seeing his play and involvement with his old team.

Who takes more threes than Golden State?
They are built for it, as they have the greatest three point shooter in history, another good one in Klay and a couple others that can shoot it. The Celtics have two very big small forwards taking them at will. They also may shoot threes but have as much motion in their offense as any team and more than most. They certainly have more than Muzzalla.
You saw the second half. Tatum just kept chuckin because that's all he could do because it's all Mazzulla knows..
Mazulla continues to prove he is one of the worst coaches in the NBA. At any given time he has four guys who can defend on the floor, sometimes all five when Horford is in there, yet opponents consistently set only one screen and find ridiculous size mismatches or Porzingis. Joe must go.

they are winning. Why would any team fire a winning coach. Of course it could be an off the court issue?

in my opinion from my TV view both goals against , #3 & #4 we're a result of bad defense. example #3 off the face off was a straight shot without Luke between Vanecek and the shooter. #4 was the same, except there was no face-off. #5 was an open net.

If they want to win anything, they have to fire this thin-skinned, arrogant putz. They know he is a problem or they would not have hired JVG, Hall and Cassell.
You're mistaken. I am not defending Mazzulla. they hired JVG, Hall and Cassell because the assistants left for other job during the season and were not replaced until the off season by these guys. you have a hard-on for Mazzulla and he can never do anything good in your mind. I have been there myself with others. But we have to be realistic and honest. later I don't want this to be a pissing contest.

I know very well why they were hired part of it was as necessary assistants, and part of it was as potential replacements for this zero. JVG in particular was brought in for no other reason than to critique this idiot.

You always get as much help as possible and prepare for the worst when you have a short window to win the NBA Championship. With the player salaries so high, another support person is a no-brainer. It all goes away in two years if they don't win number 18 during the two years.

the people that count don't agree with your assessment of Mazzulla. You may want to reconsider your opinion. Did you ever play NBA basketball? Do you know what is required of a coach based on particular player needs? The owners who are spending the big bucks for #18 don't care what you think. Give it a rest, relax, and enjoy the run.

Other than KP, who are these so called people who count? Every other player and talking head I hear thinks this guy stinks on ice just like I do. And btw, stop using the ignorant did you ever play argument. Half the coaches played at small college level only. Also, stop telling me how I should feel. Mazzulla is garbage, it showed last year, and it will show this year when an infinitely better coach like Spo or Nurse etc beats him in the playoffs.

Maine fan, you will be pleased to know Mazzulla was better tonight, not good but better. He did not have them chucking threes and he actually used a couple timeouts at good times. However Tatum was not that good. White was uncharacteristically kinda bad and Brown was his usual defensively erratic, offensively selfish black hole self. Couple bad d with bad officiating and they got very lucky.

Mazzulla did a great job coaching a win last night against Memphis. Imagine a coach sitting down or benching the team's top two stars, Tatum and Brown, so that he could coach a W for the team's 102-100.

Nice Job, Joe

Tatum played 35 minutes last night and Brown 34. What are you even talking about, neither player was benched

Never mind my other post, you were right. I was going back and forth and missed the 3rd quarter benchings.
