Don’t think it matters. As long as the official deems that the player has made an attempt to direct the puck to a teammate, it counts as a hand pass. Probably so that one couldn’t intentionally bank it off a defender and have it count.

At least that’s my understanding. I could be very wrong.

Saw that new rule about challenging glove passes work vs Flames tonite.They tied it at 4 but after challenge you could see Coleman tried to glove puck down to himself but it went to a team mate and they missed it.Tough break.

He did the same thing as he did to us - started fighting a guy who didn’t even have his gloves off yet. It’s really poor form and I don’t know how he doesn’t get an instigator in either example.

He did it because O'Brien was running around and hit one of their players late.

I was talking about O’Brien not Zadorov. O’Brien did the same thing to then as he did to Frederic where he just started pounding him without Freddy having a chance to get the gloves off. Against any code out there.

Ah, sorry, I thought you meant Zadorov did, which was why I was confused. I was watching the game and missed how the fight started.

Getting chirped by Canucks fans about how the 2024 Canucks and Bruins are opposite playing styles as the 2011 Canucks and Bruins. Saying we're toast if it's a rematch in the finals 😂

So all those years they claimed it was due to injuries, or reffing, or Daddy Campbell, or Marchand not getting a penalty for punching Sedin (when he did), or Tim Thomas standing on his head, or losing their #7 defenseman, or (insert whiny excuse for being beat by a better team), it was really due to playing style?

Credit to Lockwood for not being like 90% of his scumbag team (everybody but Bennett and Gadjovich) and actually answering the bell. I hope he is ok.

2 points in 50 games and you’re running the goalie though…not gonna end well for you

They’re nowhere near as physically intimidating without Gudas but they’re making up for it by being even more cheap this year

Canucks are having what is a dream season for them, I wouldn't worry about facing them if we are fortunate to get that far.
