Maybe they'll finally get it together, but this is Turnstile Toronto.

They go through coaches and management on a regular basis. And seemingly, it's always the same story, with the same result.

Keefe is either waving the white flag, throwing his players under the bus, or showing up management. Likely all three.

The Leafs organization, fan base and media are a toxic mess, and have been for DECADES.

The dysfunction and hysterical drama are gruesome to watch.

A once great franchise, "Canada's team." It's sad.
The only issue I have with what you wrote is calling it “gruesome” to watch. I think it’s freaking hilarious to watch lol

I too am one of those petty individuals that loves watching teams I despise perform poorly. Accordingly I too find it wonderful to watch.

Now TNT is calling its game of the week from the studio.

What’s going on with these freaking broadcasts lately?

EDIT: ok, now it makes sense.

Yeah, I get why it happened. But it is awful. The funniest (dumbest?) part is they know it’s terrible so they intermittently show tweets that say it’s great.

They’re not even trying to call the game. Just go no announcers. It’s just a bunch of filler and guys going “ooohh!” while making wise cracks. Just do the arena audio. Again, if they’re not calling the game, what are they there for? They can do their goofy clown show for six minutes every intermission. It doesn’t work for the entirety of a live game. Actually, it’s pure distraction.

They never will be good until they learn that their core players they had for years are the problem. They go on wild swings of wins and losses. Leadership in that room is a huge issue they ignore while they stat watch. Until they figure it out which seems they never will they will always be a disappointment year in and out

I think the composition of the team and lack of players willing to commit defensively when required are the biggest issues. You don`t need to have a Selke contending lineup to be able to defend a lead but when you have players who release from the D zone long before they should because they are looking for the long pass instead of picking up a man in the D zone, this is what happens

So the Calgary hand pass hit John T skate. Does it matter or does it have to be played by the stick?
