I mean when you purposefully put your self in front of a slap shot by an NHLer who works out for a living and who is using the highest technology composite stick to take the shot, AND you swivel your body such that you leave it to chance as to where the shot will hit you, you're not exactly giving yourself the highest of odds of coming away without a broken bone. Quite the opposite. By repeatedly doing that, it's only a matter of time before you get a serious injury. At least it's not his throat, head, liver or spleen that is hurt?

I just mean he's a big minutes eater, not saying he's a true top pairing d-man (or maybe even a 3/4) , but thats how we used him so it's a hole.
No need to place anyone on LTIR once Dvo is activated, Habs will still have plenty of cap space from Price's LTIR. A forward will have to be sent back down or traded thought.
Is there any reason to not put Dach on LTIR if he is indeed out for the season? I sometimes miss the small nuances of LTIR.
