Not that I think he's injured but Xhekaj did get hit with a shot from his own teammate late in the game, he didn't return but they were up by 3 with a few mins left so they may not have felt they needed him.

That's the thing with blocking shots, all it takes is one in a bad spot to do some damage. Makes you wonder how guys like Carbonneau and Skrudland did it for an entire career without getting injured. Craig Ludwig at least had these giant shin guards.

Dunno Iafrate and MacInnis slap shot were pretty hard.

Iafrate fastest shot was recorder at 105 miles
MacInnis was recorder at 100 miles.

That was fast enough to injure someone.

They were fired over how they handled the injuries that occurred.. a medical staff can't stop a guys hand breaking from blocking a one-timer.
