Very happy Anderson is back on the ice. Happy that RHP is close to a return. I think his timeline to return is mid-January if I'm not mistaken.

Hopefully he does not pull a pacioretty and come back at 70% and keep the injury around.

Pacioretty was Wolverine when it came to healing from injury. I remember one time he had appendix removed and was supposed to be out for like a month, he was back on the ice like a week later.

And even when he got his head caved into the stanchion. It happened in March and he was supposed to be out the rest of the year. But he was healthy to return in the 2nd round of the playoffs if the Habs made it there. They were however eliminated in the 1st round.

Gotta wonder what happened, cause he couldn't put any weight on it.

Probably just a charley horse / cramp issue.

Wow

Obviously thought the worst
Looks like he just sprained it a bit thank god for him
Doubt it was a sprain since they'd probably keep him out a week or two even if it was minor.

My guess is it was a cramp or charley horse.

I remember tweaking my knee when playing soccer once. I was chasing a loose ball with the opponent, slipped in a weird way and felt a sharp pain in my knee. Like 8/10 pain. I was afraid to put weight on it in case it was an injury.

I was helped off the field and it felt wonky throughout the night. The next day, it was like nothing happened. No limitations, knee and leg felt great.

The body is weird.

Wow...that's bad news. Not because I won't be seeing him....but because I didn't want to see him ever again and now...he's not being traded and he's back next year...

Look at it this way, next year is the final year of his contract. Armia's, too.

I can live with Dvorak being out the rest of the season. It's losing Dach and then Newhook for 3 months that hurt.

Yeah had a similar situation playing basketball...went up for a rebound and came down with my leg planted and my knee didn't flex. So all my weight came down on my knee joint.

Man when I tell you the pain I felt, I tried to scream but the shock was so bad I couldn't yell...just writhed around on the ground for a few minutes, left the game in an aircast and thought my season was done.

I was fine in 10 days.

It sucks for Laval that already had a thin center line (before we poached Stephens)
