His mouthpiece is probably the only noticeable part of his game anyway.

Yup, came here to say the exact same thing. This is bad news because it's going to be impossible to trade him now, including over the off-season. That means he's back next year. Our last chance to trade him is 2025 Trade Deadline.

He's just a stopgap for Beck anyway and Beck won't be ready to start the season in the NHL next year. Likely trade DVo at the deadline 2025.

Dvorak is either bought out since its his final contract year or plays his contract out to the deadline.

He is at 60% faceoffs leading the Habs centers but then again so is Stephens LOL

Depends how close RHP, Pearson and Newhook are. RHP and Pearson I believe skated on their own today pre practice.

Nobody is taking on that contract. His only purpose outside of faceoffs is to keep Cole happy since they are roommates.

I meant Stephens was Laval’s most reliable center, at NHL level he’s okay but in the AHL he was a top6 C good on draws, offence, PP, etc. With Dvorak out chances are he’ll stay in MTL.

Why would you buy out a guy that makes 4.5, has one year left, kills penalties, and is a career .45ppg? What would you do with the cap, go spend 2MM on a 35 point 3rd line C? Sure he's been disappointing but that would be terrible asset mgm't.

well the good news is he is a UFA after next season, hopefully he can be moved in the off season or next season. If not, he is for sure walking as a UFA in the summer in 2025!!!
