He's a big boy and can easily do the puck protection. Might take a few years for him to fully develop and get use to his frame, but there's definite potential.

I'm a big believer of Arber Xhekaj. I believe that he can produce really well in offensive zone. He such a great skater, great first pass, great hockey IQ. This guy is a top 4 D material !

He's awesome. That ladies and gents is what we call development. Kid was fine in his draft year. But was mostly seen as a safe defensive player. Not saying he'll rack 60 points...but he is showing so much more now.

You still need some elite talent. But yes, it's looking better.
