Three good sequence where Slafkovsky was able to skate in control of the puck in the offensive zone without fumbling the puck while keeping the play alive.

Also had a good interception and redirected the puck with his skate to Newhook.

Still watches the play a bit toi much, needs to be proactive.

Ylonen has been looking good on the Reds, probably the best forward in the first.

Barron looked good, got a shot through and has been closing the gap pretty well on his side.

Mailloux looking good again, stopped a few plays in his zone.

I think MSL put it perfectly in his mid-day presser today. He's too worried about where the puck is and needs to think about where the puck is going to be. That, in turn, will increase his offensive touches and he will get to try all the things that bring him confidence.

He's playing well, but definitely gets caught watching too much.
