Matikka with 14 in the past 14 games.
What was the knock on this kid? He looks legit.

He plays for locomotive. They call him But Chugga Chugga Choo Choo. Or But Chugga for short.Simba is in...someone needs to find out what But's nickname is
No surprise here, Matikka with his 4th Rookie of the week this season.
I asked Craig this question, from my understanding it’s possible but he made it seem unlikely.Hypothetically speaking, if Geekies team gets eliminated early, could he play in Tucson for the playoffs?
Absolutely - if Swift gets punted early Geekie will be in Tuscon. Whether he plays or not would be up to BA/Fergie/Potvin.=Hypothetically speaking, if Geekies team gets eliminated early, could he play in Tucson for the playoffs?
Completely agree...couldn't care less about whether he makes a deep run or not...get the man to TucsonI would've been invested in his WHL playoff run if it was still HIS team aka Wenatchee. Now that he's a rental I would rather see him in Tucson.
Can they sign him to an AHL deal given he already has a NHL contract which could/would kick in? Issue is we only have 2 contract slots left. One should be slated for Lipkin.Hypothetically speaking, if Geekies team gets eliminated early, could he play in Tucson for the playoffs?
Geekie is already under contract - he is using a contract slot already. I don't believe playing games when his junior season is over has any bearing on the contract sliding. Mouser can confirm. Can they sign him to an AHL deal given he already has a NHL contract which could/would kick in? Issue is we only have 2 contract slots left. One should be slated for Lipkin.
Wait until we take Kipkie’s teammate Misskey in the 3rd round.I just realized for the first time that Tanner Ludtke and Justin Kipkie are not the same player.
We have so many prospects!
And even more picks!!
I thought his contract skid because he was sent back to junior? I know it did last year.Geekie is already under contract - he is using a contract slot already. I don't believe playing games when his junior season is over has any bearing on the contract sliding. Mouser can confirm.
Edit: I do remember someone signing an ATO/PTO at the end of their season but I don't recall who it was, maybe a college player?
The contract did slide - as long as his junior season is over he can play in Tuscon without burning a year.I thought his contract skid because he was sent back to junior? I know it did last year.
