He's made some fine D plays in the last few games I thought, but it's definitely his weak point. He's improving though.

What's crazy is that his worst is far from bad lol. He got some good looks and made 2-3 plays that easily could've connected for goals. Expecting these kids to be absolutely on every single period isn't realistic, I hope we all know this. Would like to see him get a few points in the next 40 minutes though.
Right? Miller and Johnson have good chemistry.

Cooley looks really good out there. Hughes looks to be playing the left side but rotates a lot to the right side with his partner

Don't know if I can agree with that. He's trying to make a difference like every other period he's played, his timing is off though. Like to see him simplify and let the game come to him until he's got his feet back under him.

Nice breakout pass by Hughes leads to a scoring chance by Bordeleau.
That was my thought as well. He’s not skating with the the intensity he did last game. It’s early in the period of the long change so he can still pick it up.
Edit his first couple of shifts in the second look better from an effort standpoint.

Luke not getting a lot of ice-time today. Definitely feels like they're trying to rest him for the big games coming up. Expect the ice-time to go up tomorrow.
