so whats the point of getting vaccined?
I wouldn’t trust these people to cook my food for me!The organizers need to never work at a hockey event again, except maybe by selling burgers.
starting to wonder myself each day passes i am leaning more and more to not getting booster in feb lol
Obviously I feel bad for all the fellow fans out there, but the real pain will be felt from the players.
Every one of them ditched their junior team for 2-3 weeks to go to f***ing Red Deer of all places to play 1 or 2 games if they were lucky. None of them saw their families for Christmas, and each of them return with a big fat handful of nothing.
.
It's a disgrace.
It doesn't need management, it's endemic. Cases are at historic levels and yet hospitalizations do not reflect that. We need to stop being histrionic over a surge in what is essentially a cold.Truly shocking that something regarding Covid management in Alberta didn’t work out well
Why blame Alberta? IIHF should at least have gotten everyone a private room and separate area of the hotel
How is it on the province of Alberta to set up the bubble? Seems like something that the IIHF would be in charge of, logistically speaking.there is enough blame to go around. Alberta for not setting up a bubble for the tournament and IIHF for implementing such ridiculous protocols
IIHF didn't shut down the tournament because of Albertan rules.IIHF should have moved away the tournament from Alberta because of their strict rules. That’s what they should have done.
However, the main issue is caused by Alberta.
This is what happens when hysteria rules the day.So they could have the full tournament last year, prevaccine, but cant pull it off a year later when most involved are vaccinated??
Just wow.
Sigh. I see basic science is not being taught any more.
Most shots require boosters. Tetanus, every 10 years. MMR, every 10 years. Chicken pox, if you didn't get it as a kid, every 10 years. This is normal.
The only difference here is the boosters will come more frequently because it is a new virus that our bodies have never even seen.
Hmm, 2020 playoffs seemed to go well in the Edmonton bubble.Truly shocking that something regarding Covid management in Alberta didn’t work out well
