What about the team doctors? Or all the people in the hotels they are mingling with? Every doctor on every junior and even pro teams have their own practice. They need to be healthy for their own patients

How realistic is it that the tournament will take place in mid-August? This is the only real date in my opinion, because the senior world cup begins on May 13, at which time the NHL playoffs and the Memorial Cup have a final date of june 13. The beginning of August is just HGC and I think thr KHL also start in August. Does anyone have a better idea when to finish the WJC?

I'm not sure why I'm being attacked for simply mentioning that there are anti-vaxxers here. They are literally here, and it's not like I'm offending anyone by saying that. I'm sure they own up to their opinions lol

Not sure why people feel the need to make assumptions about my other opinions on the matter and drag me into their arguments that I don't care about, while insulting my intelligence based on opinions they THINK I have. It's ridiculous. I hope you guys aren't like this in real life
Okay, then call them out via quote.

I have seen a lot of skepticism and frustration. Not a lot of real "anti-vax" talk

If an event such as this were we have the public 80 percent vaccinated and every single player and staff on every single team fully vaccinated doesn't open up the publics eyes that this illness has become nothing more then political positioning and control then we will never know what normal is again......

No dude, the 4th booster will solve this and just quarantine for 10 (or 5) days and pray the rosary and spin around then say Candyman 5 times and you won't get covid (immunity lasts for 12 or 8 or 2 weeks). Follow the science. Otherwise you're anti science which is heresy.

Because you refuse to give any examples. Don’t play the victim now after coming in here and making accusations and acting like people questioning you isn’t warranted.

People just bending over and letting this new "variant" rule the world until the next one comes out in a few months, and so on. Notice how there's virtually zero talk of the delta variant? Nice to know that one just magically disappeared.

You don't understand why this happens.

It is fine. Many don't.

Currently as I type this, in a tiny town in Ontario, there is a hockey tournament going on successfully that is approximately double the size of the world juniors. They have over 500 players + coaches + fans, and all that.
There is no bubble, there is no extreme testing and the tournament is being run 10 times better than this gongshow in Alberta.

I'm not making this up. You can look up hockey tournament, Petrolia Ontario and see that this is the case.
Small-town Ontario is where it’s at now. They cancelled the Marlboro Holiday Classic.

I saw quite a few people saying they won't take future boosters and regret taking the vaccine

Don't see the point in calling them out when I wasn't looking to argue, just made a simple observation (which I regret now lol)
That's not being anti vaccination. That's how many people feel, many people went and did their part and now are fed up with the fact that they keep doing what they're told, and still nothing changes.
