Bo's brother did a social media Q&A where he revealed that Dante Sr. was apparently a massive abusive asshole to him and potentially could've been to Bo as well (Dante Jr said he did his best to protect Bo from getting the brunt of it, but who knows what happened.)

"highlights" include Dante screaming at Jr after youth games and getting physical to the point of tearing his jersey/shirt off of him and essentially telling Dante Jr that their parents are going to put their effort into making sure Bo turns out well because Sr. thought that Jr turned out (using the words Jr relayed in his answer to the question) "Too soft and too gay."

It was also brought up somewhere that when Dante Sr hung around the Jays last season it was because a bunch of players wanted him around to help them with their hitting. For this season the team gave the final decision on whether or not he would return to Bo and Bo apparently decided to not allow it.
I wonder if this is the reason that Dante Bichette is no longer on the Bluejays bench.

Always happy to see ex-Jays perform well, especially a guy like Hutchison who has been through 8 organizations and independent baseball since leaving Toronto (and had TJS before that). 2015 seems like forever ago and it's impressive how he's soldiered on and nice to see him finally having a bit of success.

So were we supposed to be happy that a contending team was on the verge of losing 2 games in a row to a bottom feeder?
You don't have to be happy about it, but if you think losing two in a row (or, more accurately, almost losing two in a row) to a bad team makes them a non contender then... there's literally no "contender" in baseball (and there never has been).

I just love the style of commentator with the "Can we finally admit that the Leafs/Jays/Yard Goats are a bad team"

You have now declared it, what the f*** does that do. Pretty sure the FO isn't paying attention to the internet comments of "ParentsBasement69". Very Michael Scott "I declare bankruptcy energy".

If sports ever got me that negative, I would seriously re-evaluate my relationship to them. Get your head in a space where needing to share your negativity with everyone else isn't the peak of your "fandom".

I have a feeling we’re going to hear about a Jays trade during the game or just after the game today. My guess is Fulmer/Happ. By tomorrow Lopez

I think Atkins really has to take more seriously the impact of the BP. I know he doesn’t like to spend a lot on relievers. But Soto would be amazing here

On July 12th, Yankees lost to the Reds, they barely won on the 13th against them and lost the next day to them. Yankees should just give up at this point.
Astros were just swept by Oakland. How can anyone take them seriously? Their season is done..

Seattle open to moving Kelenic. Could change the dynamics of a trade. Looks like their all in this year
