24 doubles isn’t terrible though. He had 28 all of last year.

On another note, Tabler seems like a different commentator when he’s not on SN. Just the way he talks and his analysis seems different.

I agree it was early, but I wonder if they're trying to build his confidence after the shaky start to the season. Get him out while he's hot so he finishes off with a closed-off pitching line the pen can't muddle and an excellent day. Give him a few of those starts to get his groove fully established and you can stop worrying he's going to go back to struggling like he did to start the year.

He's been so good. He's actually on pace to beat 4 WAR pretty easily - on pace for 4.5.

If he plays the rest of the year anywhere close to how he's played the last two months he'll probably blow through 5.
