So Marner wasn't one of the 3 stars?

Wahlstrom played under 6 minutes and took the stupid penalty that led to the Leafs 2nd goal.

Third line of Keopke-Beecher-Kastelic all -2. Only Geekie and Poitras were plus players.

Marchand with 6 giveaways and I think the scorekeeper was kind to him.

If Freddy is out, time for Merkulov & Lysell. Lose Wahlstrom.

Wotherspoon on the power play and on the ice in OT. He has one career goal. 2 points in 32 games this season. Is he out there in those situations for defensive purposes?
You are aware they are short their top 2 defensemen? Or does this not register?
The talk around here is frkn insane!

You ever fart and it ends up turning out to be something else?

Bruins.

Ok. I’ll check in tomorrow when you’re saying something differently.
Speaking of why I went home from work early today….

Then watched this one on tape delay. Should’ve stayed in the shitter.

Lohrei and Poitras
I’ve been off on guys before. But Lohrei and Poitras both remind me of some former Bruin youngsters that were overhyped and did jack all eventually.

See:Spooner. Ryan.

As it stands Lohrei is grossly in over his head and Poitras will, eventually, get his head taken off for all to see on national television with how he skates out there.

Just in.

1st and 2nd periods were good.

Pasta and Brad looked great.

Sway needed to stop a couple of the goals he let in.

I hope Trent F is OK. He was in agony.

That is all I got.

Everyone not named Pastrnak should be fair game at this point: just sell and end this nightmare.
From where we sit Brad had a good game.

Spooner's first full season in the NHL was at age 23, Poitras would have played a full season last year at 19. I don't really get the Spooner comparisons, maybe because both are smaller players and fast, but that's all Spooner was, a really fast skater in a slow NHL who used his speed to open up passing lanes. Teams that played defense and physicality exposed Spooner's weaknesses. At 20, Poitras doesn't have an issue with that side of the game. I feel like a lot of fans here forget how well he played last year between Frederic and Geekie, and other areas of his game. It remains to be seen in Poitras amounts to anything, but time will only tell.

What’s fascinating it their ability to lose in an incredibly excruciating fashion regardless of whether they are favored to win or not.

Favored to win? Blown out. Not favored? Competitive all the way until the very end where they shit the bed.

I stayed away from the GDT tonight and am glad I did

The Bruins have been notorious for giving up leads all season, and did it once again.
Going into the 3rd period with a 2 goal lead, it didn't last long as Marner popped in a PP goal just 59 seconds in.

After that the Bruins were constantly hemmed in their own end, and it was only a matter of time before the game was tied

Pasta put the Bruins ahead with a sneaky good wrister at 10:33 ..but once again the B's gave up a 6 on 5 goal with just 46 seconds remaining in the 3rd

Swayman could've/should've been better, but instead was disappointing

Charlie Coyle led the way (once again) in lack of effort, and is grossly overpaid at $5.25 mil/yr

Lohrei was the best player on the ice in the 1st period, but turned into a pumpkin after that.
They should try him at forward for a few games ...the kid has good offensive playmaking skills
..but they're really short of D-men
