I hate it so much. Ryu was probably my favorite pitcher to watch just because of how much of an oddity he is in today's game. In a world with monsters like DeGrom throwing 100+, here's this chunky Korean guy getting by with slow as shit stuff with all world control.

With a 12 start sample size it certainly looks like that control is now eluding him...which does not bode well.

The velocity loss is a bigger problem than the location. You can fix location but when you’re 35 and have dropped from 91-92 to 88 that doesn’t come back.

The jays are 3rd from the bottom in calls. The top two you ask? Yankees and Redsox. This umpire is costing the Jays outs here at this point. The calls on Chapman and Espinal were 5 inches off the plate. How are umpires like this employed? They hide behind their union.
