Not really sure that's enough to make a difference but considering how off his command is, I'm thinking probably not enough..

That wasn't even the kind of breaking ball you could see crossing an ump up, either. It started off the plate and broke further off the plate... it was never even close.

Not sure how you're supposed to lay off anything when a ball 2 feet off the plate is a strike.

Umps have been a disaster league wide. It's like they all got together in spring training and agreed on an expanded strike zone

Robo umps when?

They are using robo strike zones in some of the low A ball

They still a lot of work, some of the calls are pretty ugly. If it ever gets to MLB it will be like the Tennis Hawkeye with challenges

He’s also lost velocity.

He was around 91 with his fastball in 2020 and now everything is 88.

And as I type this he grooves an 88 batting practice fastball right down the middle.
