The Rangers this series have been insane at hitting good pitches. That was a great pitch by Merryweather and it was put right into the gap.

It feels like they know exactly what pitch is coming

if ryu cant get it together, im not sure what to do with him tbh. last 2 months of last year he was unplayable for a team with WS aspirations, i really hope its just a blip.

Was one bad inning after a shortened spring training against a team who has been fortunate to find grass on tough pitches.

I'm sure he will be fine. Looked great early today.

Ver unfortunate inning with some bad BABIP luck and poor decisions from Gurriel allowing runners to advance and score/get into scoring position.

Still early. It looks like he was already adapting to his rough finish last year by throwing his curveball more.

Ryu is an incredibly intelligent pitcher who relies on movement and placement. If anyone can adjust, it's him.

When Ramiel Tapia was a young lad, his dad asked him what he wanted to do with his life.

Some would say he said he wanted to be a ballplayer. What you don't know is Ramiel Tapia had set out on a mission after he fell off his bike at age 6; to fight gravity at any given opportunity. This mission shows in every at bat where he tries to hit a ball in the dirt, trying to lift it off the ground.
