Katoh got sent down because he wasn't wearing Robbie Ray's magic pants. I saw a tweet yesterady that he had switched to Biggio's pants.

I am a really good bandwagon Jays fan. I do NOT watch them when they are losing.

I am not hardcore like that, the Leafs have stolen all that circuitry from me.

But I am, a good caboose, bandwagon guy, slaps and chuckles. Not slurping though like Mclean of HNC.

My question is this? I was one of the few, maybe the last guy standing who like Shapiro and Atkins, something honest was about them?

I was a bandwagoneer, surrounded by hard core Jays fans telling me I was an arse for appearing so seldom and having the nuts to say that this duo, might really be good.

Well, gotta gloat, where are the 99% who hated these guys?

I look at the obvious.

These guys built a club, that did all too well, with a withering budget.

Here, in a world class city, imo, the best city in the world?

Well, be nice if there was an betting way to make huge on a pretty obvious call.

So now, we have Dubas and Shanahan, ruling the NHL shortly, Raptors already with a championship, And Jays, just ruling.

And Canadian tennis which, was always ruled by idiots then they hired Bob Brett. And now, thanks to the now deceased Bob Brett?

Heck, Canada and Poland baby... We rule.

All all, all of it starts at the top.

How we got rid of strikeout, Grichuk, for a grease lightning player and a kid, who is way way way better than anyone understands, Pinto?

Toronto, truly glorious times.

There were plenty of people around these parts that supported the hiring of Shapiro/Atkins and knew a rebuild/retool was in order due to the aging core. Some were disappointed they didn’t add in 2016 for one more chance, some were upset they didn’t sell fast enough on certain players (Donaldson), but everyone that paid attention to their drafting, IFA signings, and trade acquisitions saw some astute business decisions.

By using payroll to take on reclamation projects and acquiring prospects with salary dumps, they were able to accelerate the rebuild and move surplus minor league talent at blocked positions for long term major league players. Not to mention having the flexibility to sign top tier free agents knowing that you have core players under control for multiple years. Having Semien + Ray have elite seasons and swapping them out for compensation picks + similarly talented players (Chapman + Gausman) just makes the team that much more self sufficient. Kinda like how Masai can find a starter/star player with a measly late first, these guys just know how to find/foster talent.

Was one bad inning after a shortened spring training against a team who has been fortunate to find grass on tough pitches.

I'm sure he will be fine. Looked great early today.
i mean it was a steep decline last year in the second half. like i said hopefully its a blip, but given his age, his body type and injuries in his career. its concerning for me. but thats just me.

*Jays quickly jump to 6 to 1.

I get up to make lunch and check my emails.

Come back and it's 7 to 6.

Me: wtf...?

Thank goodness for our offence cause we’re never out of it, but damn our pitching has sucked the entire series. I’ve liked Garcia and Romano though.

Ryu's last inning sucked, but the Rangers have also had some absolute horseshoes-up-their-butts luck along the way too. Seager had a bat shatter in between his hands and still found a hole to get down for a hit.

There’s something about that arm side fastball from Burke. They’ve uncharacteristically chased a few outside the zone and looked silly doing so.
