I want to see what Lambert does. I´m pretty sure he has a chip on his shoulder after the draft. Might also mean that he tries too much on his own and holds on to the puck for too long. Still haven´t heard if he´s injured or not though...

He is still on the roster when Leijonat announced the players on twitter so I'd think he is fine.

Yeah, I would have definitely wanted to see him instead of Kalle Väisänen. The other guys over Liukas I can somehow understand, but what does Väisänen do really better than Liukas? They are anyway playing a similar energy-checking role, but Liukas just seems clearly better in that role than Väisänen. And he can score even some points while doing it.

Your way of reasoning is too simple for me. The intern game is meaningless if everyone would reason like you.

Last but not least, you are way too inconsistent in your thoughts. So Määttä and Järventie should get a free pass? Because? Joel Määttäs season was not good by any means? Järventie was utter s*it in the last whole tournament he played for u20.
But Huuhtanen and Tuomaala shouldn't get a chance because of your simple opinion and their earlier showings? When Huuhtanen had a great season and when Tuomaala has been pretty decent scoring wise in the Leijonat jersey before?
And what about Brad Lambert who hasn't been good against men? Should we all then just judge him based on that or are your thoughts inconsistent a third time?

My point is that I can't even take you seriously. You seem to make your decision far too simple, inconsistent and sometimes old merits seem to be everything and sometimes they don't matter at all? Good for you.

Was wondering if anyone in Finland who has seen him play can give an update on the status of Tuomaala. Saw him a couple of weeks ago at the Flyers development camp and he was noticeable and the Flyers have already signed him to an ELC.

Was he injured last season that he only played about 30 games and hasn't been selected to Finland's U20 team?

Is he likely to play in the 2023 tournament in December?

He just wasn't very good. Watched him play with Jukurit and he seemed pretty useless. Probably makes the December team.

Unfortunately, in Finland there seems to for some reason be some resistance to be sent down to Mestis, like it's shameful or something. So many players who really should not be playing in Liiga end up playing with minimal ice time, even though Mestis would be much more useful for their development.

He could've gone to play with SaPKo or IPK. Häkkilä, Forsblom, Krivokrasov, Kaski, Järvelä are some fringe Jukurit guys who played games in Mestis last season.
 
Don't understand what Pennanen is thinking.


-Karvinen is useless, Liukas in plesse.
-Puutio playing on the left side most of the time, where he sucked
-Rotating Koivunen and Lambert?

First line was great but not a very good game otherwise.
