This tournament has not received much hype/attention (just like the Hlinka/Gretzky cup). I wonder how much of this is due to the ongoing Hockey Canada issues. This might be TSN 's way of distancing themselves from Hockey Canada for the time being. Or it could be a cost thing.

There is no way it's cost related. TSN is turning its nose up at a money maker. TSN is airing trash rather than this game and Hockey Canada didn't sell easy tickets to the game. Considering that TSN is still going to be showing WJC games and taking in that money I'd call this bullshit the laziest way they could possibly "distance" the network from Hockey Canada. Courageous bunch.
