Leo Carlssons age should not be a problem. Look at Michov and Dvorsky, they are also 16 years old and will play.

Having such a skilled guy as Leo on the 3rd line is nice depth.

And Liam Dower Nilsson looks like a machine in SHL. He is not producing so far but the kid looks good and gained some weight and strenght. Just a perfect fit as 4c.

Öhgren has probably played himself onto the team. He doesn’t have the high end skill of Lekkerimäki but he’s a far more polished player at this point. Was hoping more players would stand out in this tournament, the guys I wasn’t too familiar with didn’t look good at all.

Niederbach is back in training and it’s looking more and more likely that Holtz will be released so that’s the good news.

Hopefully Niederbach is good to go, and Holtz is a huge addition.

Theo Nordlund making a push. Doing great in Kristianstad.

I like the guy. But i dont see him this year as better and more polished than Sjödin/Nybeck/Magnusson/Ljungman/Sjöberg. He is a lock next year ofc.

William Strömgren finally got a chance in SHL. I like him alot. Hopefully he plays crazy good and forces his way into the team.

Elias Stenman has 2 goals in 11 SHL games. Got the impression he is a hardworking player who would fit as 4c.

I'd gladly take Öhgren over all the players you mentioned aside from Nybeck and perhaps Ljungman. Nordlund is also a big no for me.

If monten decides to go with a grinder line im hoping for Öhgren - Magnusson - Robertsson. All 3 gritty players. Physicality is always more needed in Small rinks.

Holtz - 6 games in NHL and 2 assists. We might not even get him.

Oskar Asplund pushing for a spot. 7 points in Allsvenskan.

If Monten plans on Eklund as winger:

Eklund - Niederbach - Olausson
Rosen - Carlsson - Lysell
Strömgren - Bystedt - Nybeck
Öhgren - Östlund - Lekkerimäki
Sjödin

That 4th line sure as hell is more exotic than the names on my HM list. But doubt we see it. . Look at the russians. They always have 4th lines like that in WJC. Skilled players.

HM:
Dower Nilsson, Sjöberg, Magnusson, Ljungman, Stenman, Ekmark, Robertsson, Torgersson, Tärnström, Oliver Johansson.

Torgersson making a push. I think he has 5 points in the last 8 games.

and Sjöholm have 3 points in 6 games and +1 with HV71...:( now he is gonna make the team.

WHL
F Fabian Lysell 17 gp 6+12 18 pts

OHL
F Oskar Olausson 18 gp 12+10 22 pts

AHL
D Helge Grans 11 gp 2+4 6 pts

I wonder if any other NA players have a chance. Alex Kumlin? Seems to be doing good in USHL and is a physical player. But probaly not.

Not sure a forward group relying on Holtz, Eklund and Neiderbach is enough to get it done against the big countries but the combo of defense plus Wallstedt could definitely steal some games in single elimination. Those forwards are enough to put up some points while the back end is rock steady

alexander ljungkrantz with 2 goals in 2 games in allsvenskan. he already have around 25 shl games in his belt.

sounds like someone who would fit on a bottom line:

"Ljungkrantz is most effective when he keeps his passes simple and does the dirty work along the boards and in front of the net. He shows good awareness off the puck and can generate good speed up the ice. Ljungkrantz's wrist shot has quite a bit of power to it as well. Ljungkrantz defensive game also revolves around hard work and giving full effort in all situations. "

Olausson, Lysell, Nybeck, Rosen...they will provide some points aswell

Stjernborg is injured. Sjödin is not a center. Andrae is a offensive player. Look at who is Edvinssons partner in Frölunda, its a big physical guy in Christian Folin. I think Lööf can have that role.

Team 18 camp roster

https://www.swehockey.se/globalasse...tcamp-dec-2021/e18-roster-december-2021_2.pdf

Team 19 camp roster

https://www.swehockey.se/globalasse...litcamp-dec-2021/e19-roster-december-2021.pdf

So we can asume these players are not on the preliminray WJC-roster, but could be if injuries hit.

The interesting part:
"Spelare som är uttagna till denna camp kan fortfarande bli aktuella för JVM-truppen, som presenteras 8 december."
Man, the centers will f***ing suck more than ever this year, huh?
