Oscar Magnusson is a hardworking gritty dude that has 3 points in 4 allsvenskan games. also +4

Im afraid that Rosen and Lysell will not make it. We all know what an idiot Monten is. They are too "young"...and with arguments like "hey, we have raymond, olausson, eklund, etc we dont need Lysell and Rosen!!!"

Also whats the deal with Oscar Leijon? He has good stats. Better than Ollas?

Right now, IMO:

Raymond - Eklund - Holtz
Olausson - Niederbach - Nybeck
Rosén - Stjernborg - Lysell
Magnusson - Ljungman - Sjödin
Robertsson

Edvinsson - Olsson
Andrae - Grans
Wallinder - Forsmark
Nyström

Wallstedt
Clang
Leijon
Raymond and Eklund have impressed in pre-season and look to make the regular season rosters. We'll see if either of their clubs want to risk sending them to WJC and suffer a Dach injury situation.

Filip Bystedt is doing great in SHL.

Its gonna be hard for Monten to pick this team. So many good players to choose.

Leo Lööf seems to be doing good in Liiga. 2 goals in 13 games and +4.

Hugo Styf gets lot of praise from expert Harald Luckner.

I think both are supposed to be physical players, our coaches always pick one those guys with that style. I just pray to Odin its not Victor Sjöholm. That guy cant play hockey.

Anyways, Theo Jacobsson is another youngster on that Modo team, drafted by San Jose, put up 2 goals in 8 Allsvenskan games. One of many contenders for the 4th line.

Im watching Färjestad - Örebro right now, and man, Leo Carlsson looks amazing. He did in the other games i saw him aswell. He is problay good enough already for this WJC.

Any chance Oliver Johansson makes it?

Played on first line yesterday with Robin Hanzl and Ty Rattie.

well rip our gold chances.

raymond has 7 points in 6 games. eklund has 3 points in 4 games. and holtz is crushing AHL with goals. Just a matter of time before he gets called up. I do think there is a big chance that all 3 gets send down to AHL, but it will probaly be later in season when their inexperiance and fatigue is taking over, but that is long after WJC.

I still think we will get Eklund and Holtz, or at least one of them. Eklund will probably go to Djurgården in like a month. Or maybe this is just wishful thinking.

If Eklund goes to Djurgarden it will be after the 9 game mark, which would come much sooner than a month. There was talk San Jose would keep him close on their AHL team though, if they didn't want to keep him up on the big club all year. It will most likely depend on the teams play in the next week or two. If they struggle/Eklund doesn't get much playing time then he will get moved down somewhere, and would then play in the WJC. If they keep him on the Sharks all year I doubt he plays.

And i just knew Monten would pick Sjöholm. Jesus christ. Why not Hugo Styf instead if they want a physical d? He atleast can play a bit hockey unlike Sjöholm.

Östlund should've also made it, then.

Also, you bring two Örebro players and they aren't Carlsson+Forsmark? What?

Filip Barklund is a good player actually. Even made a impact in the SHL playoffs last season. But Milton, Ekmark and Garve is weird selections.

Will be intresting to see who the 3rd goalie will be. Wallstedt and Clang are locks.

I had Oscar Leijon as my 3rd but im not sure anymore. I think Ollas is intresting. He is a giant. Played good in SHL last season and started good in NCAA. Ollas would be my choice right now. But its possible Monten wants a younger guy as the 3rd to get experiance. Hugo Hävelid perhaps or Carl Lindbom.

Jesper Vikman and Philip Svedenbäck is 2 other names.
