If that's the price for a young forward, Sharks should trade 11th++ for Tkachuk. Even if we suck, at least it'll be fun to watch him torture Doughty and the Knights ten times a year.
Why is chicago trading a 21 year old that has barely scratched any of his potential? Especially if they think he is worth a top 15 pick.
This also for Pasta. Only thing untradeable is Eklund and next year's 1st.I would have done 11th and any non-Eklund prospect for Debrincat.
Absolutely no to 11th for Dach, he’s bad.

They're going to have Seth Jones play all 60 minutes each game surrounded by a bunch of pylons. Like literal orange, grease and grime-covered pylons pulled in off the Chicago streets that they had to make a back alley deal to acquire (importantly, though, at no cap hit).Bold of you to assume Hawks want any actual players
I’d gladly trade either as the main piece for Pasta if Grier is planning on competing. This also for Pasta. Only thing untradeable is Eklund and next year's 1st.
Touché. Hawks are clearly all-in for Bedard. I’ll scream if they get him.Bold of you to assume Hawks want any actual players
I call bullshit on this Sens trade.... Still refuse to respect Dorian, but holy shit he's DW level sneaky now. Makes me want to vomit looking at their lineup with the 2 top 6s that EK65 got them.
And when it’s time to pay him and Meier each $8-9 million this time next year what are you proposing we do to come up with that space?Debrincat only got 7th overall and change? Absolute steal for the Sens, holy crap. Sharks should have been in on that if it was only 11th overall plus.

There’s only two teams who are in worse shape and more dysfunctional than the Sharks: the Hawks and the Flyers.

As if Karlsson or Vlasic could be traded.Trade Burns, trade Vlasic, trade Karlsson, trade Labanc, play 14 rookies per game.
The man has a plan. You gotta respect it.Trade Burns, trade Vlasic, trade Karlsson, trade Labanc, play 14 rookies per game.
When was the last time an elite young player was lost by a team due to cap space? There will always be an idiot GM to bail you out. Labanc, Simek, whoever can go to make room. And when it’s time to pay him and Meier each $8-9 million this time next year what are you proposing we do to come up with that space?
He already said he wants to make capspace, that implies making moves. No way in hell he was hired to stand pat, team will find ways to add.So Mike Grier said in his press conference that he doesn't know much about the team... Who is the one who is supposed to be pulling the trigger on trading Reimer? Gonna be really disappointing if Grier doesn't make any moves this offseason and waits until the TDL.
Looks like another status quo offseason. Say what you want but I really hoped I was wrong and that the org was going to try something interesting with Grier hire.
