As an offseason/preseason exhibition it makes sense, but in season it's an overwhelming competitive disadvantage. 14 time zones of jet lag (Boston to Sydney) and ~22 hours of travel time each way is an unfair burden to put on only 2 out of 32 teams in season

Yeah I get that aspect of it. That's why I understand the idea of the games being pre-season. My advice to the league though would be that pre-season is fine, but don't half-ass this. Australians hate nothing more than tokenism or being fobbed off with a lesser product. If we're being told that the 'NHL' is coming to town, then it needs to be the real deal with star players involved. Anything less and they risk the whole thing being a bit of a flop.

I often wonder where clothing like that is found - I mean, is it custom?

Now, the toughest question: how did Pastrnak decide on his suit?

“Wanted something bright since it’s a nice sunny day,” said Pastrnak, who wore a white T-shirt and sneakers. “I like blue. Nice and easy.”

Three related fun facts:

1. Pastrnak has a Czech tailor who does most of his suits.

2. “Krejci” is Czech for “tailor”.

3. David Krejci is not Pastrnak’s Czech tailor.

Don’t really know where to put it but I’m currently taking in an EIHL game right now between the Cardiff Devils and the Nottingham Panthers. My fiancée is Welsh (Cardiff) and we try to catch hockey whenever we do a trip….. aka: I try to catch hockey Lolol. She’s into it though. Loves the Bruins!

@DominicT may appreciate this but Nottingham has a few former OHLers in David Levin and Michael Caruso.

I saw Levin and immediately said, “David Levin? Sudbury Wolves.” And sure enough haha

Caruso, when I saw it, rang a bell. HockeyDB comes in handy! Played 2 NHL games with the Panthers. He is a former Guelph Storm.

Small world
