Well when you distill a product down to the video game version absent of rivalry, a good chunk of its physicality and in markets it wasn’t desired to begin with…..you get 22% viewership drops (or %VD I guess?)

@AlicatThis tweet makes my skin crawl. It’s almost like he’s celebrating Stone getting hurt
Reverse hits are incredible dangerous at full speedI miss hits like this

Really good interview here with John Scott & Milan Lucic
Oh I know. Sometimes there's no easy way to say something@Alicat
Reporter not to blame - Vegas is once again in danger of missing playoffs and they will move heaven and earth to prevent that

Years ago, I heard that Looch wanted to stay in Boston but knew he might be moved so went to LA. He had just had his second child and he lost his Dad.I've heard people say he asked to be traded, but he doesn't say that in this interview..
There's a whole lot less passion on the ice - not surprised to see less from viewers too.Well when you distill a product down to the video game version absent of rivalry, a good chunk of its physicality and in markets it wasn’t desired to begin with…..you get 22% viewership drops (or %VD I guess?)

Bring back the rivalries and the drama. Fires need fuel

The bolded text is the majority opinion in the responses on Twitter. I understand the financial rationale for the multiple streaming platforms, TV, etc.; however, they make it difficult to find/watch a game. The consumer pays a significant amount of money to watch streaming games, but they are blacked out when televised on NHL Network or ESPN, not to mention the regional blackouts. I understand they want protection, but the numbers are telling a different story.Reverse hits are incredible dangerous at full speed

I'm sure there will be NO Controversy or conspiracy theories when the head of the BoG and NHLPA are both Boston affiliated
Colorado and Detroit in the 90s was pretty intense, which made them must-see games and I didn't even like either team lolThere's a whole lot less passion on the ice - not surprised to see less from viewers too.

There are some really ignorant posts on the main board. Clearly, they know nothing about Marty Walsh. Some idiots are using the thread to bash the city and people of Boston. I am pretty sure this is not allowed.I hate this.
I hate this because I think he needed more as the Secretary of Labor. In the grand scheme of things, Secretary of Labor is a far more important position than the NHL Players Association.
Yes, Marty Walsh has his shortcomings, but he is a staunch supporter of Labor, and that is a cause near and dear to me. In addition to being a third-generation Bruins fan, I'm also a third generation union member in the building trades, and having an ally like Walsh in his position has been huge for working people everywhere.
Is he qualified? Absolutely.
But I hope he does NOT get/take this job.
I think he's too important where he is.

This is about other thingsYou knew this was coming. There are still people out there who GENUINELY believe we were handed the cup because Greg Campbell's Dad.
You can't reason with folks like that. They live in their own world.

Now we will sell your car and say goodbye to a future where two parents shuttle their kids around, where life is beautifully, blissfully busy, where we kiss each other goodbye at the door and go in different directions in order to get it all done.#28: What Remains
