After 40 minutes Toronto is now outshooting Tampa Bay 29 to 8 and they are still up 2-0. Tampa Bay looks like they have their full roster tonight so maybe the Toronto defense is as good as we're constantly being told over on the main board. :laugh:

They’ve been playing really good team defense all season. They’re a much better team than in the past.

Agreed for sure, although I wouldn't take Tampa lightly for a second when the stakes are raised come playoff time.

the leafs are the biggest pretenders in pro sports.
 
Well, new jersey has cooled off, but here comes Carolina.

We're still six points up on them with a game in hand though
 
Things can change quickly in sport. Not 2 weeks ago Lucic was a deserved healthy scratch by the Flames for 3 games. Now he's back in and has been elevated to the top 6 for the first time in who knows how long, playing with Kadri and Huberdeau. And just like that he has goals in back-to-back games and is looking really good. Of course it's unlikely he'll stay on the 2nd line for long, but it's nice to see Looch bounce back. Hopefully he can at least find some consistency and keep a spot somewhere in the lineup.

Every few days a new slate of games will appear

Of all the game listed you pick one team to win their game

You can only pick a team once and if you pick someone to beat Chicago you can't use a team playing Chicago in the next event. 3 picks wrong and you are out.


NHL Survivor begins with the games on Friday, December 23rd

New games will post at least twice a week.

A 2 pm start time for a thursday game? Why

Flyer up 1-0 on the leafs but getting outshot 15-3. Not going to last imo.
