Big game for seeding implications tonight in Toronto vs Tampa. If Tampa wins it’ll really tighten the atlantic race. Should be a good one.

It is? Makar obviously didn't think so. Neither do I.

What's the call then?
Hook? see it in every game to the hands/body but

My point was who the F is he to decide if his team should get a power play? Spare me he's a stand up guy.

I wish he team lost, that would have been a better outcome.

His teammates were fine with it.

I would not be to happy if was Colorado. Dumb if he did tell the ref that. The stick on the shoulder is a penalty every day of the week, regardless if he just slipped

There's honest, and then there's too honest.

Andrew "Hamburglar" Hammond retired earlier today at 34. He couldn't overcome a serious ankle injury he sustained last year. He was one of my favorite all-time stories when he broke into the league as a virtual unknown and went 20-1-2 at the end of the year for the Sens and helped them make the playoffs. He also has a great nickname.

Paste the link below if you want:

Same call that Lindholm took last night in the B's game hook or high sticking could be warranted. That's the problem with the NHL officiating, each Ref has his idea of what a penalty is.

I just expect consistency(well I should say I don't expect it but more of what I want)

The Pickem software was the last extra @Buffaloed bought for the board as he thought we could have fun with it. I hope all of you join the game and play it in his memory.

NHL Survivor begins with the games on Friday, December 23rd

New games will post at least twice a week.

It will be TRIPLE ELIMINATION and you can not use the same opponent twice in a row.

The winner will get a HF Trophy, 5,000 in Sportscash and something from the Evolve Media prize vault.

Remember you can only use a team ONCE

Good Luck Everyone

Don't know if anybody saw this yesterday, but this is Lady Byng worthy......

Makar is a wonderful guy. Has never seemed to let his talent go to his head. Full marks for this action. You wouldn't want a player doing this sort of thing all the time, but when a call is so obviously wrong, great to see the player put his hand up and tell the refs they've made a mistake.

I'm watching TB and Toronto on Bally Sports. They put a "Happy Holidays" banner over the game clock for several minutes.

This has got to be one of the worst uniform matchups. Blue and white vs blue and white. Looks worse than Boston playing Pittsburgh.

I cannot believe Toronto still uses Hall & Oates for their goal song. Everything about that team is so smarmy.

Can't they both lose?

I like little about the Leafs, but their use of Dreams Come True just works for me. It's different from the usual hockey goal songs, it's fun and quirky and I like it. Unpopular opinion but there I said it!

What is going on with Matthews' flashy, colored skates though? Haven't noticed them before.

I don't mind different goal songs (I like the Preds' song). I just don't like that particular different goal song. Maybe just because it's Toronto lol

Yeah, those skates are.... something...

The skates are ugly on purpose. Looks like he’s raising money for a good cause.

The skates are not nearly as ugly as the game Tampa is playing against the Leafs tonight. They haven't shown up at all. Shots in the 2nd are 21-5 for Toronto and they are up 2-0. Has the makings of a rout.

TB isn't the team they used to be, over the last few years they have lost key players and all the deep runs they have made have taken their toll, still a dangerous playoff team because of AV in nets. In my opinion the Leafs are the bigger threat to the Bruins.
