Oof. Wright to the Kraken. Almost as bad as Arizona. Going to be years before Kraken get competitive.
I think they could be competitive before Arizona, just because Arizona is never competitive (anymore) and doesn't really make a lot of good moves.

But their GM hasn't been all that great, they have a STUPID head coach (another smear on the GM for hiring him when he shouldn't have) and it might take a few more years of hundreds of thousands of miles of leash to Grubauer.

Take the C and then based on the young forwards the Devs have, spend the rest of the damn draft on dmen and goalies (generally riskier with longer dev curves anyway). Better asset management if no trade back. Simple.

Unless they LOVED Nemec, which they clearly didn't (prem on RHD). Again, this is from someone who likes Nemec a lot.

Seattle must be thrilled that Wright fell to them. Him and Beniers as center depth for the foreseeable future is going to be great for them.

Please you can't make a statement like that without proof...
Sorry, I’m out Right now and doing this on my phone so I don’t have my lists right in front of me. But, 2020, would’ve selected Quinn over Holtz by a mile and probably Jacob Perrault over Mukhamadullin. Last year I would’ve selected Pinelli/Morrow over Stillman and I can get back to you about the late round picks I would’ve changed. I don’t have the guys in front of me right now.
