Sure he got the gimme with Mercer, who almost anyone could have picked at that point but the other first rounders and high picks have been very iffy to this point.

Stillman is the only bad pick he's made, and even then it was very late in the 1st.

Holtz, Mercer, and Luke were all great picks. Muk was controversial at the time but I think most people have settled on him being a very good prospect. He was a risk that they were right about.
