Curious.. have you watched a lot of games from Wright this past season?

From my viewings there was nothing to get excited about. He plays like a ghost and is very boring, too.
Boring? Or a connector with pro habits.

He's always in position to facilitate the play from his own end to the offensive end. Presents himself as an option to teammates and transitions the puck.

And despite being so "boring", he still had CHL production on par with other average No.1 overall picks like Hischier or RNH.

Great pick for Philly with Devin Kaplan -- NJ native, power F for your 3rd line. They are going to be really physical.

Arizona is just not good at drafting.

Carolina clearly reads my draft-writing, Perevalov is a freaking steal right here. Unreal.

This is why I had a temper tantrum meltdown about Casey. Casey is a solid player but we left first round talent on the board to pick him. (Waah waah okay I'm done)

5 RD Mastrodomenico
6 LW Jonsson
7 LW Milne
8 LW Dolzhenkov

Back to back great picks with future NHL middle 6 speed C Kaskimaki to St. Louis and sniping LW Neuchev to Buffalo.

Montreal killing it -- high-compete, young RW Rohrer with great scoring pop.

Devils should really be looking at Logan Morrison here. Can probably be the 2C in AHL next year and make the team as 3C by 2023-24.

San Jose makes their best pick of the draft with Fisher -- fast, big, skilled high-upside, but long-term project. Could be top-pairing guy.

Winnipeg takes another great talent with compete problems in Danny Zhilkin. They're going pure, pure upside every single pick. Zhilkin is very comparable to Zacha at same age, we'll see how he develops.
