God knows I’ve dragged Fitz for reaching/bad pick value in previous drafts and I don’t think either pick deserves it this year (and the 2nd not even close).

mikey milne seems like a fitz pick.

Few match Milne’s work rate, which shows up in his off-puck impact. Intense close outs to point allow him to pile up the steals, while equal pressure on the forecheck and backcheck force turnovers. He takes the extra stride to ensure he’s leveraging the puck carrier and establishing body positioning. Usually first on loose pucks, and when he isn’t, he often wins the ensuing battle.

Hamara a steal here for Ottawa, which has had trouble drafting in the past two years in general. Tremendous offensive upside and good in his own zone.

Buchinger a good all-around LD for St. Louis. High floor.

Minnesota just KILLING it. Mikey Milne is a Blake Coleman-like defensive force with speed, compete, and scoring pop.

I think he can be a bottom pair PP guy but the fit just doesn't work to do that here with Dougie, Luke, Nemec, maybe Sevo

How about Jordan Dumais? Don't know his game, but the numbers are impressive

Columbus goes with a terrific offensive forward in Jordan Dumais. Only knock on him is lack of size and high-end speed, but he's just a dynamic offensive threat every time he has the puck. Yet another great pick for Jarmo in Columbus.

Rangers knock it out of the park again, with a great future 3C prospect in the big, north/south old school Bryce McConnell-Barker. They're drafting well, and unfortunately so is pretty much every team in the Metro.
