I really don't understand Philly. Torts is going to have them at least semi-competitive even though that roster is a bit ugly in spots now. Then they'll have to totally tear down and rebuild in a couple years.

I had Bystedt ranked in the 80s, I think. He was the worst pick in the 1st round in my mind. Every year, there is a 1st round bust where a team takes a "big & fast guy" over multiple players who are far better at actually playing hockey. This year, Bystedt has to be that bet. I'd say he has 3rd line upside and an average floor. He'd be a good pick in the bottom half of the 2nd round, but the 1st was far too early, especially with Owen Beck and Jack Hughes on the board. If either of those centers were 6'4, Bystedt wouldn't even be considered in the same stratosphere as those two.
