Owen Beck is a top 20 pick in the draft, and the Habs got him in the 2nd round. They're just having an outstanding draft. The 1/2 center combo with Suzuki will be flat out outstanding in a few years.

I guess they got a guy? The standard spare parts Fitz trade, but at least it’s something. Doesn’t spark a ton of confidence, but it’s better than a fat contract for Jack Campbell.

One of the values to this is that it essentially takes us out of the running for a Campbell or Kuempher. Those are going to be bad contracts.
