Brady has nothing left to prove, I'm surprised he's still considering coming back for another season.
I'm sure a bunch of sportswriters are mad that they had their prewritten Brady retirement piece ready to go and now he's burned it for them by waffling about this.
Still, both teams deserve a possession in the postseason.Burrow has it. May have been fitting if he beat Brady in the SB for a passing of the torch.
And see, you can win in OT if you lose the coin flip if you can actually play some defense.
Still, both teams deserve a possession in the postseason.
If both teams cant stop anyone (like last week) then both teams deserve the ball. Hence they should make sure both teams get a possession in the postseason. Not if you can't stop anyone. Cinci stopped the Chiefs the whole second half and OT, that's why they were able to win and the Bills weren't.
Good for Stafford. Years of garbage in Detroit
Happy for Stafford but very happy for the Bengals as a whole franchise and for their fans.
As Jets fans, we could only dream of being in such a moment...I envy those fans in Cincy finally getting to experience that.
I will be happy for either Stafford if the Rams win or the Bengals fans if the Bengals win the Superbowl.
Hopefully, though, it's going to be like the Kansas City / Buffalo game (which will go down as the nuttiest game I've ever seen).... lol
there is no such thing as a cursed franchise. The Devils have won cups and the Saints have won the Super Bowl. The Red Sox have won multiple World Series in the 21st century. The Jets will get it together at some point. It will happen.

Whichever way the Super Bowl goes, the winning QB's narrative will be compelling. One the one hand, Stafford could finally shed his "Stat Padford" reputation from years of futility with the Lions and step up in the clutch to deliver. On the other hand, Burrow has the local boy made good story and leading the Bengals out of irrelevance ahead of schedule.
