Their goalie has been their best player... fun good competitive gameI don't think team Canada or anyone could be called "dominate" today…

Easily the toughest challenge they've faced. Without that cheesy 2nd goal, Finns would be one shot away.I don't think team Canada or anyone could be called "dominate" today…
Kiviharju looked shaky in the defensive zone? You really haven't been paying attention, I guess. A couple of high pressure situations and instead of panicing he somehow sends it along the boards at the exact correct velocity for his teammate to get it.Kivijarju with his pocket picked at the blueline, he's looked a little under pressure and shaky deep in his own zone too early on. He might be exploitable, he's a damn good player but he's only 16 after all.
lol that's ok thenWe put our maximum effort into everything we do even if it's being horseshit at something.
I think they are still one shot away.Easily the toughest challenge they've faced. Without that cheesy 2nd goal, Finns would be one shot away.
I suspect both teams are thinking they can play much better.
Guys, come on, in a slightly different context you'd be lauding the refs for "letting them play".Sweden was doing the same thing and getting away with it last game too.
Gotta fight through it because they aren't calling it.
That was very early in the game I made that comment, he's turned it around since then.Kiviharju looked shaky in the defensive zone? You really haven't been paying attention, I guess. By the way, that play that he got his pocket picked - it was bad of course, but he from a far inferior position with a much lower starting speed actually caught up to the forward and managed to recover and defend, which is something to think about considering his "big weakness" is his "very slow" straightline skating.
Theres letting them play and letting too much stuff go that a team can't play their game.Guys, come on, in a slightly different context you'd be lauding the refs for "letting them play".
In spite of my weak play-by-play game, yes.Is it still 2-0 Canada and is the second over?

They've tried playing pedal to the metal but Finland has sure made it tough on them to do that.I' haven't seen a second of this game but is Canada playing a safe conservative style or are they putting the pedal to the metal, I hope they come out and play our game not piss around giving the Finland 3/4 of the ice to play with
Put it this way - Canada is playing an excellent defensive game, in large part because it's the first game they've had to do that. Canada has had a slight offensive advantage, but also benefited from an egregious lucky bounce goal.I' haven't seen a second of this game but is Canada playing a safe conservative style or are they putting the pedal to the metal, I hope they come out and play our game not piss around giving the Finland 3/4 of the ice to play with
