MacT smoked him on the first goal.lol
I think Mysak is a classic Czech grinder in the mold of Repik to Plekanec. He does everything right, is a good boy and plays 200 feet. I don't expect much offence for him. More complimentary IMO and good at eating minutes. I hope I'm wrong of course but 3rd line NHL player one day.
I think a lot of players for missed due to the weird season. A few good Czechs went late or not at all. I'm not saying the NHL missed first round talent. But I am saying a few guys were worth drafting including Gut. Svozil may end up being a third round gem! I'm not a fan but surprised Malik was passed on twice. But we will see... Hopefully jiricek doesn't lose ranking and hopefully kulich moves up to round 1.Agreed on Mysak being a top6-9 forward or perhaps even a fourth line player, who knows.
The comparison to Lehkonen is a bit difficult thought. The thing with Lehkonen is that his 15/16 season with Frölunda at that young age showed some glimpses of more what he eventually became. Just look at his stats at the playoffs from that year.
Also, after Teräväinen, Saros and Lindell he was perhaps our fourth best player in that gold team and the only one besides Teräväinen who could create some opportunities on his own. Among forwards that is. That´s quite the compliment because the team won gold and the depth wasn't there, so all in all he carried a big role.
I wonder why Michal Gut didn't get drafted? Impressed me. I do think Jiricek and later on Svozil as well, showed something special. Loved Svozils poise with the puck in the offensive zone. Ice cool.
Fuuucccckkkkk!
McKenzie is the most connected man in this. I guarantee he's even seen the MRI.lol.I don't think McKenzie has any special information on this particular injury. He can just assume from how the injury looked. And it didn't look good at all. I would be very surprised myself if Jiricek wasn't out for at least a month.
The Czech team hasn't make any statement yet, but I think we all know this kind of injuries...
I don't think Bob does a whole lot of random guessing. Not really his style.I don't think McKenzie has any special information on this particular injury. It's beyond depressing to be honest. I will cheer to the end though.Does anyone else enjoy it?
Yes, me too, but as you write, it's depressing. And because it's been so depressing almost every time in recent years, it's really hard to overcome. It's beyond depressing to be honest. I will cheer to the end though.
