Oh em gee. Like, I love this, but also, I want to get off this planet now I don't want to be here anymore.

I do appreciate the three different pronunciations of Gniwder.

Nuder
Gewder
Gwidder

Almost disrespectful lol.

Is this on Apple Podcasts?
It's NotebookLM, by Google.

I thought it sounded more like Neutered

We should make a podcast of every GDT

I like that kasper is willing to fight, but he shouldn’t be fighting. But that’s the goon league that is the AHL. Either way he should be in the NHL not having to fight to defend himself down there while plugs like Watson skate around and do nothing on our roster.
Dach had 39 PIM, Philips 42 PIM last season. Neither are fighters. Kasper and Nate got beat up by a couple of AHL plugs, not enforcers.

Apparently "holding your own" means going down to the ice while getting your face punched in. Whatever. Homerism is normal for HFBoards, we probably don't have enough of it since the team has sucked for so long.

I made an AI podcast where two AIs are discussing the contents on the last page on this thread, and it is hilarious.

It's scarily authentic

Are you sure your avatar isn't you as a space cadet?

I see now that your determination of the loser of a fight is based on who falls down first

Punched down, not fall down. Go to Hockeyfights, and you'll see that most people will agree.

The only fights I've been involved in are bar fights, there's no ref to save my ass when I'm working the door.

Dach isn't an enforcer but he had fights in the WHL and also previous fights in the AHL. He's had enough of them to know what he's doing, He's had at least one instigating situation so it's not like he's unwilling.. From the fight replay it seemed he didn't like Kasper getting his stick up on him after a hit at the blue line. Although it's off-screen Dach probably went back at him and Kasper complied rather than skate away like a p***y who'd rather just take it easy late in a game they were losing 4-1. What's the point, some might say, especially if the other guy is a lot bigger. I find this consistent with what we know about Kasper and an admirable characteristic.

According to hockeyfights, he averages one a year. So does Kasper, hockeyfights doesn't log SHL. Dach has good form for a guy that only fights once a year if you watch his other AHL fight. It's almost like he got some coaching....

He probably did get some "fight coaching" in the WHL,, in an unofficial way from talking/grappling with teammates and maybe a meathead team alumni who's come back to his Junior playground to tell tales of his wonderful days in the ECHL. There were probably WHL preseason games and training camps where he fought in addition to what's listed on his fight card. Or in pro camps, video evidence or not, with teammates like Bertuzzi and Jensen did. Or maybe he leaned from getting smoked in what might have been his first WHL fight, suspected concussion afterward. It's just silly to think Kasper won't pick up, either first-hand or from teammates, what he needs to learn to take care of himself or find out his limitations and choose his spots accordingly. It's not at all a big deal. And I know you already know all this.
