Outrageous talent. Can he get the Baker as a freshman?
Wouldve had a chance if Fantili wasn't there. Fantili is producing at a 1.91 ppg.

J'aurais eu une chance si Fantili n'était pas là. Fantili produit à 1,91 ppg.
I really don't want to indulge with you in your little fantasiesHis arms length are disproportionate with the rest of his body, he can still grow one inch taller below the waist.
The closest in the NCAA history was Brian Leetch, i think.Oui mais Fantilli est un attaquant , Hutson est à Proche 1.5 PPG et est un défenseur.

Hutson is at 1.4 ppg, and the gap between 1.91 and 1.4 is pretty big.
Fantili has the 3rd best ppg in the NCAA since 1999/2000.
Fantili plays for an all star team so if we're going of PPG and nothing else surely that should be considered too.
Over sixty and I still have no problem growing an inch at the waist.Still hoping I can grow an inch below the waist too but it's not happening
At this point it's probably up to him if he wants to go back to the NCAA for one more season. Or he could sign this year, and go play a few games in Montreal and play in the AHL next year with his brother, on a stacked AHL team.
He should go back for another year to get stronger, I agree, but how many points do you need before he's ready? He's def going back to the NCAA. He needs a lot of time in the gym, and playing in the NCAA is the best place to do that.

What defensive game are you talking about? He's average defensively. His game is all about offense and smothering the other team into submission. Not just about points. He got to get stronger, improve his skating, and refine his defensive game.
Few players take over the WJC at 18Looks like a top-four defenseman in the making at the very least and has been on the rise since the beginning of the season, so glad he fell to 62nd in a UFA bound waiver wire pick up Kulak trade. Ideal partner to Xhekaj in a couple of years.
The only thing he didn't do well was destroy the WJC but then Caufield didn't as well for example and he was still considered a bluechip prospect at that time. He could get another shot at that tournament next year and play a more prominent role.
I hope he signs a contract soon and plays at the next level. Even Subban played at the ahl level one year, I hope he has a similar path even though he is younger. I feel all he needs to improve can improve while moving up a league. His defensive upside will always be limited due to his small stature and his strenght can improve in any league he wants to play. His skating is not a weakness, he may lacks a top-end gear for his size but I don't think the league he can play in will change that.
1 goal + 12 assists in his last 5 games +12, top-10 in scoring in the league as a defenseman in his first year and leads his team in +/- (even though I am not a huge fan of that stat). With his recent growth from 5'8 to 5'10 and 10-15 pounds heavier, he has shown enough progress to go up a level.
One thing that is under-stated on hutson is his compete level which is very high to go along his talents.
He's still on pace to break Brian Leetch's freshman record: 47 pts in 37 games (1.27 ppg). The closest in the NCAA history was Brian Leetch, i think.
This is one prospect I have no problem saying take the slow path on him. Let him go back for one more year. He can hit the gym. Grow maybe one more inch. Add another 10-15 lbs. Sign him at the end of next season and let him play the last ten games with us.
35 in 25, you're double counting his last game. He's still on pace to break Brian Leetch's freshman record: 47 pts in 37 games (1.27 ppg).
Hutson is at 39 pts in 26 games (1.5 ppg).
I'm not the one with the mistake, I based that from the tweet a few post back.35 in 25, you're double counting his last game.
