Your such a drama queen, and like my stats are irrelevant, go back to blocking me like you used to because I made you cry and rage quit so many times.

That's all you've got?

I'm a drama queen because I'm laughing at you? Good one.

Blocking your post is much more akin to a sanitary measure, but keep pretending whatever you want to yourself if it makes you feel better, your display of saltiness is purely exquisite.

Do you have any more toxic failed contrarian hot takes to bestow on us?

It has been a long long time since we actually had legit prospects in the system. I'm a bit worried about Houle on the farm and they need to hire a better coach. Its been a dumpster fire on the farm.

I know questioning 147lb dmen and how they may pan out seems odd to a super duper stats guy like you, I mean they have such a wonderful success rate at the pro level. Hope you can handle my toxicity, or just tell a mod like you did last time and head to your safe space, I'm good either way.

He's not 147, he's over 160.

We may trade one of the youngins as we did Romanov for help up front. Or, as you say, we may trade Matheson.
Not 'OR', IMO, 'AND', rather.

In the short term, Harris is likely trade fodder. As we near the end of Matheson's contract, ;likely as we get closer to Hutson being NHL ready, the veteran lefty is next to go.

Next year, with Edmundson gone:

Matheson
Guhle
Xhekaj

On the left side, or:

Guhle
Matheson
Xhekaj

On the right side, Montreal needs to trade for a top-end RHD or sign an UFA during the offseason.

Guhle - Acquired RHD
Matheson - Harris
Xhekaj - Kovacevic.
Barron

Season after, stick with the same, but trade Harris at the trade deadline when Mailloux proves he can play on the AHL:

Guhle - acquired RHD
Matheson - Mailloux
Xhekaj - Barron
Kovacevic

Following season, with Matheson traded since Hutson iOS ready for the NHL:

Guhle - Acquired RHD
Hutson - Mailloux
Xhekaj - Barron
Kovacevic.

I'm just concerned about the D-awareness of a Hutson - Mailloux pairing. It might need to be

Hutso - Acquired RHD
Guhle - Mailloux
Xhekaj - Barron
Kovacevic

Either way, Montreal needs to add a high end RHD, even if it is more of the shutdown variety to eventually play with Hutson.

I'm not a super duper stats guy

And you're misrepresenting what I did.

The poster I quoted presented stats with the intent of proving something.

HE was the one using stats (so I'm assuming you have hard time to read, but really, we both know it's childish misrepresentation) and I simply corrected his pityful attempt.

Also, whatever you're droning on about mods and safe space is just more ad hominem attacks in lieu of substance. More posturing and BS. I could pretend the very same thing about you, but I don't need to resort to making-up BS.

Showing the complete hypocrisy of you trying to paint me as a stat guy when the guy you're defending is the one who tried to use stats, is quite enough. Don't need to make-up anything, it's right there to see.

Interesting that you see both Eddie and Savie getting moved this season.

He said he grew taller and gain some weight, since those older stats.
On the BU site, he's listed at 5'9" 155 pounds.

Cool, hope he pans out. Unlike what some notorious whiners (drama queens) here think, I'm rooting for the kid, but there is no way he makes an impact unless he fills out a fair amount. Harris is getting tossed around out there and he isn't small, the blueline is a nasty place to make a living. We don't want another Wideman that makes PP appearances and disappears in every other situation, but an all around blueliner with offense. I think Quinn Hughes is a minimum size to shoot for and he's really taking a beating lately.

If you don’t see the difference between Alzner, Savard and Hutson in terms of talent i don’t really know what to tell you lol.
Alzner clearly had different skills, but you know it's possible that Hutson will play fewer NHL games than Alzner did. That would be unfortunate for the Habs, but not impossible in my opinion.

Some prospects you are not allowed to cast any doubt at all, its always funny to watch the anger come out of the woodwork. The nerve to question a tiny dman making it to the pros, when so many larger and very accomplished players never made a dent at all. I never said the kid was a bust, I just said his size raises questions and I'm reserving excitement. If he was a forward, I'd be way more optimistic, but on the blueline with that small of stature, a lot of things have to work out.

Love how all the attention is on his size. Meanwhile, he's producing world beating forward numbers as a D man and he's still on nobody's radar.

I'm always very pessimistic about habs prospects but i think this kid has a legit shot to be special.

Agreed there is high potential, but no NHL defenceman can afford to not be able to defend, so this is his main challenge.
