The toilet wrecking habits of digestion-impaired Habs posters having birthing experiences via their anal cavity and sparing no details for the dubious entertainment of the community at large.

At least with Dino it was just about good toilet back suppprt, the post you’re quoting is just something else and has haunted me. Oh @Toene. o_O

I’m trying to think of who would be an ideal D partner for Hutson.

When I think of under-sized, dynamic, offensive defensemen, there’s Quinn Hughes and Adam Fox.

Adam Fox plays with Ryan Lindgren who is a physical, two-way d-man with size

Quinn Hughes played with Chris Tanev in 19-20 and that pairing worked out really well. Tanev, like Lindgren, is an extremely reliable defenseman.

I’m trying to think of who we have in our system that fits that mold.

Barron could be an option but I think he’s much better suited with someone like Guhle.

Mailloux could also be an option but I need to see more from him before I feel comfortable assessing his game.

Other than that, not sure who could work.

Guhle popped into my mind immediately when you talked about Lindgren

Xhekaj? Maybe a UFA right shot defensive defenseman. There's not much after Barron at RD in the prospect pool so maybe they'll sign someone eventually.

After Barron and Mailloux, no? Why leave out Mailloux. Also, it's highly likely at least one LD can play the right side well. Like a Jordan Harris.

He missed so much development time. He's a very long shot to make it.
I think he'll be able to reach whatever potential he had before missing time.

The question mark for me is just how his game ends up transitioning to the NHL level. But there is time. Another year of Junior. Maybe 1 to 3 years in the AHL. Plenty of time. We need to be patient. He's a raw talent that may take some time to refine.

The new NHL games are ass, all the playing modes suck. So I tried to play HUT. Son... I loaded my credit card and couldn't crack division 3. Damn you EA!

Mailloux is very aggressive offensively, probably a very poor match. Considering Lane is likely 3-5 years from playing in the NHL if he even makes it the only current option is Barron. I think Hutson's upside is a 3rd pairing PP specialist so someone like a right handed version Edmundson is more ideal but is not currently in the organization.

Mailloux is a less skilled, more aloof, much taller version of Hutson. If LH had LM's size, he would've been a top-10 pick. Hutson is one of the most talented players drafted by this org. in decades, the only issue is that he has the shape of a toddler.

They obviously wouldn't fit together. If Hutson ever makes it, we'd need a Gudbranson/Hamonic-type D to pair him with.

Preferably a better skater than Hamonic or Gudbranson but I agree that he will need a big physical partner.
