I say that because his Doctor who say that Hutson is going to grow 1 or 2 inch. So 5"9 like Krug or 5"10 like Girard, that's pretty good. For the lb... he can have a plan to put more lb on him, that's can work with coachs.

The talent of Hutson is incredible, the size is nothing to me... Caufield drop because of his 5"7 and today we project him to be a 40 goal scorer in NHL. If Krug can make it, Hutson too.
He's not guaranteed to grow.

It's just his bone age is younger than his actual age, so there's a chance.

Another good example of growth in coege would be Dustin Penner. I think I've said these a few teams in regards to Hutson potentially growing

His growth plate analysis did not and can not say that he will actually grow at all....only that it is possible. Saying size is nothing is ludicrous, if size was nothing then there would be as may 5'8" dmen as 6'2" dmen.

You also need to drop the Krug comparison as he is a fire hydrant and Hutson is extremely skinny and very unlikely to ever be physically strong.

Hutson is intriguing and I want to see him find a way to bring his skillset to the NHL but he is still very much an underdog and the odds aren't great. I was happy with the pick as he definitely is special in a couple of categories so let's relax with the poor comparisons and hyperbolic projections.

Hutson is a stud.

ok, so he is a fantastic skater and a fantastic pp quarterback. SO right now he is short. Lets say he NEVER GROWS, SO what, put him on the 4th line and then PP quarterback. I remember some nhl players did that. Think P. Byron size, just as fast, even better deeks, and an ACE on the PP from the back. Remember you always have an extra defender in case one goes down. Yes I know, time will tell if he pans out gets to the NHL. Lets see.

Regardless of his stature? When projecting his NHL readiness? The kid is going to wreck shop in the NCAA. I can’t wait! He will also get a world class education as long as he stays away from BU’s economics department.

I have suggested that an option may be to carry 7 D and 11 forwards where he plays on the 4th line but spots as a D on O-zone faceoffs and on the PP.

It should be mentioned that some are overrating his skating as he is not a Byron level skater. Hutson has great edges and decent speed but he is not a burner and really struggles skating backwards. I suspect his speed will end up being very good when he adds more muscle and his backwards skating is something that the Habs will prioritize on fixing. His elusiveness, hands and IQ are truly top notch and he looks like a mini Mitch Marner in the offensive zone.

Lane is so unique that it is really difficult to project how he will develop and what he will become but I think it is going to be fun watching it unfold.

Ice cream is my kryptonite too but in the sense that I have the most diabolical shits the morning after. I'm a daily toilet-wrecker with my regular diet and even then, the reaction I can have because of modified milk substances surprises myself everytime. One of the worst I've ever had was after eating a strawberry-cheese cake Drumstick. I thought I was giving birth to Chernobyl 2.0 from my ass.

I'm not lactose intolerant, but I only buy Coaticook or stick to sorbets. Otherwise my fiancee would have to move out because of safety issues.
The toilet wrecking habits of digestion-impaired Habs posters having birthing experiences via their anal cavity and sparing no details for the dubious entertainment of the community at large.

I'm sure Hutson is very easy on the eye and wouldn't hurt the team on the 4th forward line, but all I can think of in this scenario are three letters.

M A B. :-)

This, if he is the real deal we need to find a way to work him into the lineup. Him on the backend of a power play would be more desirable that a forward like some teams do. If needed convert him to a forward.

Hutson is not skinny, actually. He's ripped, just not much mass. He needs to add bulk and that can come through the legs more effectively and help him be stronger on the puck at the same time.
Hutson is extremely skinny, he doesn't even fill out his shin pads. You can still be ripped while being extremely skinny if by "ripped" you are referring to a very low body fat percentage. I was always annoyed with teammates who called themselves "ripped" just because their lack of body fat exposed their tiny muscles and veiny skin. I enjoyed telling them how ripped they were when they bounced off of me in practice or weren't strong enough to lift my stick.

Lane has a small frame and will never fill out like Bouillon or even Krug. I still think he is an exciting prospect especially if management think outside of the box with his usage. I think he needs to at least put on 25 pounds and much of that needs to be muscle as he would get murdered at his current size.

I guess we don't have to be scared he doesn't sign with the habs, he still wears his habs t-shirt in the middle of august

I was just gonna say too,
I really love seeing him wear a habs t-shirt even tho he doesnt have to
Shows me he's ingraining himself in the franchise, buying in

Really high on the kid man

I'm no endocrinologist but judging by the nose and ears to head size ratio this guy tops out at 5'10
